The Paris Consensus on Childhood Constipation Terminology (PACCT) was proposed by 8 pediatric gastroenterologists who met at the Second World Congress of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition in Paris in July, 2004. Fecal impaction was one of the conditions defined.
