Kremers et al reported the upper limit of normal (95th percentile) for sclerotic glomeruli in a renal biopsy based on the age of the patient. A number of sclerotic glomeruli that exceeds this cannot explained by aging alone. The authors are from the Mayo Clinic and Cleveland Clinic.
